Try It Thursday: La Choy Creations+Recipe!

Try it Thursday– I will recommend a product to try or review one that I have tried.

I was blogging and I realized that I didn’t take out anything for dinner. I browsed my stockpile and came across LaChoy Creations. So I read the directions and gathered the items for the meal. This was super easy to cook. I make my own stir-fry usually with cut up vegetables, but I decided to try something different.

It was a heavy box I must say. Inside the box, there was a bag of rice(1 ½ cups) + a can of sauce(red pepper and pineapple).  So I began to read over and make sure that I understood the recipe requirements. I also thought about adding my own little twist to it as well. Here are the ingredients to try this tasty meal.

3 Chicken breasts cut into ½ inch cubes

1 ½ cups water

2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil

Cutting board

LaChoy creations box

Seasonings(your choice)

  1. Boil 1 ½ cups of water. Add rice to boiling water. Turn down to medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes or until all the water is gone.
  2. In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir until no longer pink.
  3. Add can of Sweet and Sour Sauce and stir to combine and coat the chicken. Heat for 1 minute.
  4. Serve with hot cooked rice.

All the ingredients in the pan after the chicken is cooked.

Cook your rice.

Add seasonings to taste. Serve on a bed of rice.

*La Choy Creations™ Sweet & Sour Chicken brings the best of both worlds together: Savory red peppers and juicy, sweet pineapple are coated with a specially seasoned sweet and sour sauce. Simply cook the chicken in the sauce and serve it over prepared rice for an easy way to make a quick meal.
