Tuesday Tip on Frugality– I will offer a tip in regards to coupons, and organization.
Tip #7: Know the average price for goods.
I never pay full price because I know the average price for common goods. For instance, I like to stock up when prices are low. Grapes are .99/lb at an average price. They can go as low as .79/lb. The other day I went into the supermarket to look for grapes for the kids’ Halloween party. They were $3.99/lb! How ridiculous! It does not make sense. If I buy 5 lbs of grapes at the average price, I am paying $4.95. If I were to buy them now, it would cost me $19.95 for grapes. What a big difference! Try to survey different stores in the area to see how much things cost.
Supermarkets know that if you are in a hurry to buy, you will pay any price. Don’t fall for their schemes!
